Toral Patel

Singer, Managing Director

Toral's musical journey begins as early as she can remember. Inheriting melodies from her mother, who sang Gujarati Folk Songs and Bhajans for various events in her hometown, Toral was fascinated with beautiful, meaningful words and how they fitted into unique tunes.

Inspired by her Guru HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, early on, she dedicated a lot of time singing devotional compositions and the rich poetries composed by the learned Sadhus of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Her musical journey began at a young age by performing for various schools' and local areas' competitions.  Her zest for learning music solidifies as she brings home first place year after year. She started learning Hindustani Classical Vocal from a local music school in Vadodara at a young age. Later on, she trains with her Guru Shri Narendra Kothambikar, a Music Professor at Mumbai University, and continues learning various Ragas under his able guidance. She also gained some knowledge from Shrimati Sarbari Gangopadhyay and Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee along her journey.

She firmly believes that the world of music is as vast as an ocean and therefore wishes to remain a forever music student. She loves writing and composing melodies in   different Ragas. Today, she runs a local music school based in the USA, where she teaches children this ancient art form. Her vision lies in gaining knowledge by imparting.
